Ten physician hospital administrators from cities throughout Moldova arrive in La Crosse on Wednesday, May 12. Sponsored by World Services, the health leaders are participating in a three week professional exchange focusing on “Hospital Administration”. Moldova has made steady progress in reforming health care. The Community Connections exchange will focus on US strategies to increase efficiency and quality.
The professional program will connect the Moldova participants with hospital and healthcare administration experts from Gundersen Lutheran; Franciscan Skemp-Mayo; La Crosse – Mayo Family Medicine Residency; Scenic Bluffs Community Health Center-Cashton; Mayo Health System in Rochester; University of Minnesota-Rochester; University of Wisconsin-Madison; Veteran’s Memorial Hospital-Waukon; Health Tradition Health Plan; Wisconsin Hospital Association; Wisconsin Legislative Council; La Crosse County Medical Society, and Wisconsin Collaborative for Health Care Quality.
Twelve families will share their home and American way of life with the visitors during the three week program.
